1. Meat Preparation

  • Trim excess fat to improve shelf life.
  • Slice the meat into uniform thin strips (3–5mm thick) for even drying.
  • Optional: Marinate with natural preservatives like rosemary extract or a mild brine (no salt or seasonings harmful to dogs).
